3TODO: better (earlier) error messages on broken transfer's
4TODO: destroy gets only called on cancel: fix(?)
5TODO: should explore PerlIO::via::CoroCede and PerlIO::via::CoroAIO. 3TODO: should explore PerlIO::via::CoroCede and PerlIO::via::CoroAIO.

8 but very lacking in others). 6 but very lacking in others (higher level ipc)).

103.7 84.1
9 - incompatible change: $SIG{__DIE__} and $SIG{__WARN__} will now
10 be local to each coro (see Coro::State).
11 - introducing result types to schedule required some drastic
12 hackery, so beware.
13 - possibly bring back 5.10 compatibility (untested).
14 - work around stupid (and wrong) warning on 5.10 :(.
15 - overlay the saved state over the context stack. This saves
16 a few hundred bytes per coroutine on average and also
17 speeds up context switching a bit.
18 - further tune default stack sizes.
19 - (more) correctly calculate stack usage in coro_rss.
20 - Coro::Storable::blocking_* did not properly lock
21 resulting in races between coroutines.
22 - added Coro::Storable::guard.
23 - stopping to trace a coroutine could destroy the cctx of
24 an unrelated coroutine.
25 - explain the relationship between Perl and C coroutines in
26 more detail in Coro::State.
27 - Coro::Util::inet_aton did not short-circuit dotted quad forms,
28 causing a fork per resolve. This also affected Coro::Socket.
29 - sped up Coro::Event next event handling by 15%, uses less memory.
30 - switch to a separate stack in $coro->call/eval to avoid
31 invalidating pointers.
32 - cede/cede_notself should now correctly return their status.
33
344.03 Sat Oct 6 21:24:00 CEST 2007
35 - added Coro::throw method.
36 - minor code cleanups.
37
384.02 Sat Oct 6 02:36:47 CEST 2007
39 - fix a very minor per-coroutine memleak (a single codereference).
40 - fixed a bug where the currently in-use c context would be freed
41 prematurely (can happen only when programs change the stacksize
42 or use tracing).
43 - tracing can no longer keep a coro alive after it terminated.
44 - do static branch prediction in the common path for gcc. gives
45 about 2-5% speed improvement here.
46
474.01 Fri Oct 5 22:10:49 CEST 2007
48 - instead of recreating *a* standard output handle we simply
49 use STDOUT, which is faster and hopefully more robust.
50
514.0 Fri Oct 5 12:56:00 CEST 2007
11 - incompatibly changed Coro::Storable::freeze. 52 - incompatibly changed Coro::Storable::freeze.
12 - added Coro::Debug, interactive coroutine debugging and much 53 - major new feature: added Coro::Debug, for interactive coroutine
13 more. 54 debugging, tracing and much more.
55 - major bug fix: unbelievable, but true: $_, $/ and many other
56 "saved" variables actually weren't being saved. This has been fixed,
57 of course, while increasing performance while losing all the save
58 flags.
59 - save flags are gone, and all the api functions dealing with them.
14 - added Coro::Semaphore::adjust. 60 - added Coro::Semaphore::adjust.
15 - added Coro::Util::fork_eval. 61 - added Coro::Util::fork_eval.
16 - added Coro::Storable::{nfreeze,blocking_{freeze,nfreeze}}. 62 - added Coro::Storable::{nfreeze,blocking_{freeze,nfreeze}}.
63 - added Coro::killall.
17 - reduce initial stack sizes to allow for "micro-coroutines". 64 - reduce initial stack sizes to allow for "micro-coroutines".
18 - better async_pool resource management, moved parts of async_pool 65 - better async_pool resource management, moved parts of async_pool
19 handling to XS (major speed improvement). 66 handling to XS (major speed improvement).
67 - actually croak before modifying important data structures.
68 - refuse to transfer while compiling.
69 - possibly support eval EXPR better now.
70 - enable assembly per default on linux+bsd x86+amd64.
71 - all internal members were renamed _something for easier subclassing.
20 - many minor tweaks. 72 - many minor tweaks.
