19 a logic error enabling experimental 5.24 code for all versions.
20 - since various broken or deficient patches float around

22 our own workaround, which seems to be much less invasive
23 and more compatible than the approaches seen so far. YMMV.
24 - work around assertion failure in perl_destruct on 5.24
