3 - disable t/07* under automatic testing.
4
53.8 Sun Aug 9 15:30:10 CEST 2009
6 - implement $loop->signal/signal_ns.
7 - (libev) incompatible change: do not necessarily reset signal
8 handler to SIG_DFL when a sighandler is stopped.
9 - (libev) ev_default_destroy did not properly free or zero some
10 members, potentially causing crashes and memory corruption on
11 repated ev_default_destroy/ev_default_loop calls.
12 - (libev) take advantage of signalfd on GNU/Linux systems.
13 - (libev) document that the signal mask might be in an unspecified
14 state when using libev's signal handling.
15 - (libev) take advantage of some GNU/Linux calls to set
16 cloexec/nonblock on fd creation, to avoid race conditions.
17 - implement internal glue code to interface more efficiently
18 with AnyEvent.
19
203.7 Fri Jul 17 16:49:16 CEST 2009
21 - add EV::loop_verify and EV::loop_depth.
22 - use output filehandle for i/o watchers waiting
23 for EV_WRITE, otherwise input filehandle.
24 - use common schmorp.h header.
25 - add EV::Timer->remaining.
26 - allow for subclassing of EV::Loop (see the exciting
27 EV::Loop::Async module for an example).
28 - added EV::invoke_pending and EV::pending_count.
29
30 - (libev) ev_unloop and ev_loop wrongly used a global variable to
31 exit loops, instead of using a per-loop variable.
32 - (libev) the ev_set_io_collect_interval interpretation has changed.
33 - add new functionality: EV::invoke_pending, EV::pending_count.
34 - add $timer->remaining.
35 - add EV::loop_depth.
36 - (libev) calling unloop in fork/prepare watchers will no longer poll
37 for new events.
38 - (libev) use GetSystemTimeAsFileTime instead of _timeb on windows,
39 for slightly higher accuracy.
40 - (libev) actually 0-initialise struct sigaction when installing
41 signals.
42
433.6 Tue Apr 28 02:50:37 CEST 2009
44 - keepalive(0) could decrease the refcount of the loop
45 permanently.
46 - add ev_suspend/ev_resume, also make ev_now_update
47 accessible via the XS API.
48 - most EV::<eventtype> constants were missing and have been
49 added :/.
50 - add EV::VERSION_MAJOR/VERSION_MINOR constants.
51 - (libev) multiple timers becoming ready within an event loop
52 iteration will be invoked in the "correct" order now.
53 - (libev) do not leave the event loop early just because we have
54 no active watchers, fixing a problem when embedding a kqueue
55 loop that has active kernel events but no registered watchers
56 (reported by blacksand blacksand).
57 - (libev) correctly zero the idx values for arrays, so destroying
58 and reinitialising the default loop actually works (patch by
59 Malek Hadj-Ali).
60 - (libev) new EV::CUSTOM revents flag for use by applications.
61 - (libev) add documentation section about priorites.
62 - (libev) add a glossary to the dcoumentation.
63 - (libev) extend the ev_fork description slightly.
64 - (libev) optimize a jump out of call_pending.
65 - t/03_keepalive could fail when there was no actual error.
66
673.53 Sun Feb 15 02:38:20 CET 2009
68 - (libev) on win32, the event loop creation could randomly fail
69 due to an initialised variable having the wrong value.
70 - (libev) probe for CLOCK_REALTIME support at runtime as well and
71 fall back to gettimeofday if there is an error, to support older
72 operating systems with newer header files/libraries.
73 - prefer gettimeofday over clock_gettime by default.
74
753.52 Wed Jan 7 21:46:14 CET 2009
76 - (libev) fix some issues in the select backend when in fd_set mode.
77 - (libev) due to a thinko, instead of disabling everything but
78 select on the borked OS X platform, everything but select was
79 allowed (reported by Emanuele Giaquinta).
80 - (libev) actually verify that local and remote port are matching in
81 libev's socketpair emulation, which makes denial-of-service
82 attacks harder (but not impossible - it's windows). Make sure
83 it even works under vista, which thinks that getpeer/sockname
84 should return fantasy port numbers.

6 - (libev) try to avoid librt on GNU/Linux. 89 - (libev) try to avoid librt on GNU/Linux.
