31.3
4 - properly propagate exceptions from callbacks, instead of silently
5 eating them.
6 - forking while in an atfork handler is now supported, although
7 I am pretty sure some pthread implementations will barf - don't
8 fork in an AIO callback if that is a concern for you, or synchronize
9 for yourself by clearing the request queue first.

111.2 Wed Aug 17 01:22:58 CEST 2005
12 - verified on cygwin, linux/amd64+ia32+alpha, solaris.
13 - use SvPVbyte for filenames now. You *need* to encode your strings to
14 the external filename encoding first.
15 - fix the bug where filehandles could leak (again).
16 - clarify freebsd situation: make it work and tell me how, or go away
17 with your underdocumented, broken and outdated OS.
18 - fork'ing should now be officially supported (where linux and
19 posix contradict each other, I followed posix).
20 - only call read() once per poll, not twice (speedup).
21 - new functions: aio_rmdir, aio_symlink.
22 - force callback arguments to be undef or a reference, for better
23 error catching.
24
251.1 Sun Aug 7 05:27:23 CEST 2005
26 - added configure script to detect availability of some calls.
27 (imperfect, as we cannot detect things like -lrt due to missing
28 feedback yet).
29 - emulate fdatasync via fsync, pread/pwrite via unsafe read/write
30 and readahead via manual reading on platforms lacking those.
31 - ported t/03_errors.t+framework by Brad Fitzpatrick
32 from Linux::AIO.
33 - removed XOPEN_SOURCE because stupid solaris 9 doesn't
34 compile with it enabled. Probably breaks others. Oh well.
35 - try to be more careful with errno on non-threaded perls.
36 - cygwins perl insisted on a matching open mode when morphing
37 the fd to an fh.
38 - convert sv's to "byte" encoding in aio_read/aio_write. Might
39 do that for pathnames, too, in the future, so make sure you
40 properly encode your pathnames.
41
421.0 Fri Jul 22 10:43:30 CEST 2005
43 - aio_open did not reliably deliver (open) filehandles.
44 - all aio_*-functions keep a reference to the filehandle so
45 it doesn't go away while the aio requests is working on it.
46 - disable warnings in AIO.pm.
47
480.9 Wed Jul 20 23:55:04 CEST 2005
49 - allow recursive calls to poll_cb, use less locking calls, too.
50 - fix the Gtk2-example in the SYNOPSIS.
51 - use pread/pwrite not pread64/pwrite64. this was simply a leftover
52 from Linux::AIO.
53 (found by compiling on cygwin. Unfortunately, cygwin declares but
54 does not implement pread/pwrite).
55 - only include <sys/syscall.h> on linux.
