587Repopulated by Lord Butakis, this land is a unique region of lakes, rivers and the sea.
588Changes, both natural and unnatural, had drastically transformed the landscape of
589this area. Rivers had been diverted, lakes were drained, and the sea had reseeded -
590only to have all this undone or remade through a catastrophic flood a decade later.
591As a result of this devastation, one needs to recognize the hardship and sorrow
