Help for QUIET:

The QUIET command allows you to mute a user or hostmask in
a channel.

Syntax: QUIET <#channel> <nickname|hostmask>

Examples:
    /msg &nick& QUIET #chat AfterDeath
    /msg &nick& QUIET #chat *!*@*.ipt.aol.com
