42 - setuid/setgid operation is now _encouraged_: security has been
43 improved by moving privileged operations into a separate process
44 and permanently dropping privileges within the terminal. This
45 makes it possible to remove security checks from the perl code
46 and gives a much safer feeling when urxvt needs to run with
47 special privileges.
48 - perl taint checking disabled, as urxvt no longer runs setuid/setgid
49 itself.
50 - new perl extension automove-background that can be used to get
51 the same effect as pseudo-transparency with any pixmap.

117 - SECURITY FIX: on systems using openpty, permissions were
118 not correctly updated on the tty device and were left as

120 too), and were not restored properly. Affected are only
121 systems where non-unix ptys were used (such as most BSDs, not
122 GNU/Linux). (found, patched and debugged by Ryan Beasley).
