25 - fix the assumption that chars < 256 are single-width. Now
26 only assume this for codepoints 32 to 126 (reported by Dai.H.).
27 - $term->strwidth returned wide chars as width 1, because some jerk
28 confused min and max. Fixing this also fixes xim-onthespot.

30 - secondaryScroll is now enabled by default (as per the manpage),

43 - fixed urxvt::strwidth to calculate width in the same way as screen.C.

69 - INCOMPATIBLE CHANGE: this version will always read ~/.Xdefaults,
70 earlier versions only read it if display-resources (usually from
71 .Xresources) are not set. This avoids the #1 FAQ ("why isn't my
72 resource used") and seems to be logical behaviour, too. .Xdefaults
73 resources have a lower priority than display-specific resources.
74 - add "kuake" perl extension that does a similar thing to the kuake
75 terminal emulator (see man urxtvperl).
76 - use less "correct" color scaling that is compatible with libX11 and
77 Xft (avoids off-by-one colors resulting in striped backgrounds).
78 - the "depth" resource is now respected.
79 - preset the searchable-scrollback pattern with "(?i)" to default search
80 to case-insensitivity. Will automatically be cleared when typing an

110 - use double-buffered drawing (xft fonts only). On many driver/hardware
111 combination this actually increases xft drawing speed, at the expense
112 of more network bandwidth and slight nausea on the side of the author.
113 - readline perl extension now requires shift-click instead of a normal
114 click, and eats the click.
115 - tabbed perl extension now supports -e.
116 - disabled graphics-exposures on the main drawing GC, report any
117 refresh bugs please.
118 - improve property handling for -pe tabbed: avoid unnecessary property

269 - setuid/setgid operation is now _encouraged_: security has been
270 improved by moving privileged operations into a separate process
271 and permanently dropping privileges within the terminal. This
272 makes it possible to remove security checks from the perl code
273 and gives a much safer feeling when urxvt needs to run with
274 special privileges.
275 - perl taint checking disabled, as urxvt no longer runs setuid/setgid
276 itself.
277 - new perl extension automove-background that can be used to get
278 the same effect as pseudo-transparency with any pixmap.

345 not correctly updated on the tty device and were left as
346 world-readable and world-writable (likely in original rxvt,
347 too), and were not restored properly. Affected are only
348 systems where non-unix ptys were used (such as most BSDs, not
349 GNU/Linux). (found, patched and debugged by Ryan Beasley).
350 - meta8 support was forcefully enabled in most configurations.
351 restored configurability of this (useless) feature (reported
352 by Mikachu).
353 - optionally embed a perl interpreter, which can be used for more
354 intelligent/customized selection support, visual feedback,

456 - R_SB_RXVT bitset value was 0, so rxvt scrollbar was initialised
457 every time resulting in display errors (original rxvt also affected).

459 - font names are now considered to be utf-8 encoded (xft apperently
460 uses this convention. X Core fonts might not, but it should be rare).
461 Affects display in iso14755 box.
462 - rewrote the low-level xft drawing function ("xft backend" for the
463 hipper parts of the world) to hopefully cope better with proportional
464 chars mixed with fixed-width ones.
465 - rxvt is now much more careful (read: slower) with potentially

467 more than required, but that's better than undershooting and
