98 - fixed urxvt::strwidth to calculate width in the same way as screen.C.

124 - INCOMPATIBLE CHANGE: this version will always read ~/.Xdefaults,
125 earlier versions only read it if display-resources (usually from
126 .Xresources) are not set. This avoids the #1 FAQ ("why isn't my
127 resource used") and seems to be logical behaviour, too. .Xdefaults
128 resources have a lower priority than display-specific resources.
129 - add "kuake" perl extension that does a similar thing to the kuake
130 terminal emulator (see man urxtvperl).
131 - use less "correct" color scaling that is compatible with libX11 and
132 Xft (avoids off-by-one colors resulting in striped backgrounds).
133 - the "depth" resource is now respected.
134 - preset the searchable-scrollback pattern with "(?i)" to default search
135 to case-insensitivity. Will automatically be cleared when typing an

166 combination this actually increases xft drawing speed, at the expense
167 of more network bandwidth and slight nausea on the side of the author.
168 - readline perl extension now requires shift-click instead of a normal
169 click, and eats the click.
170 - tabbed perl extension now supports -e.
171 - disabled graphics-exposures on the main drawing GC, report any

325 improved by moving privileged operations into a separate process
326 and permanently dropping privileges within the terminal. This
327 makes it possible to remove security checks from the perl code
328 and gives a much safer feeling when urxvt needs to run with

330 - perl taint checking disabled, as urxvt no longer runs setuid/setgid

400 not correctly updated on the tty device and were left as
401 world-readable and world-writable (likely in original rxvt,
402 too), and were not restored properly. Affected are only
403 systems where non-unix ptys were used (such as most BSDs, not
404 GNU/Linux). (found, patched and debugged by Ryan Beasley).
405 - meta8 support was forcefully enabled in most configurations.
406 restored configurability of this (useless) feature (reported
407 by Mikachu).
408 - optionally embed a perl interpreter, which can be used for more
