184 - INCOMPATIBLE CHANGE: this version will always read ~/.Xdefaults,
185 earlier versions only read it if display-resources (usually from
186 .Xresources) are not set. This avoids the #1 FAQ ("why isn't my
187 resource used") and seems to be logical behaviour, too. .Xdefaults
188 resources have a lower priority than display-specific resources.
189 - add "kuake" perl extension that does a similar thing to the kuake
190 terminal emulator (see man urxtvperl).
191 - use less "correct" color scaling that is compatible with libX11 and
192 Xft (avoids off-by-one colors resulting in striped backgrounds).
193 - the "depth" resource is now respected.
194 - preset the searchable-scrollback pattern with "(?i)" to default search
195 to case-insensitivity. Will automatically be cleared when typing an
196 uppercase character.

225 - use double-buffered drawing (xft fonts only). On many driver/hardware
226 combination this actually increases xft drawing speed, at the expense
227 of more network bandwidth and slight nausea on the side of the author.
228 - readline perl extension now requires shift-click instead of a normal
229 click, and eats the click.
230 - tabbed perl extension now supports -e.
231 - disabled graphics-exposures on the main drawing GC, report any
232 refresh bugs please.
233 - improve property handling for -pe tabbed: avoid unnecessary property
234 changes (for kde's benefit) at the expense of extra round-trips,

236 - modified XIM according to a patch sent by Takano Akio that sets

384 - setuid/setgid operation is now _encouraged_: security has been
385 improved by moving privileged operations into a separate process
386 and permanently dropping privileges within the terminal. This
387 makes it possible to remove security checks from the perl code
388 and gives a much safer feeling when urxvt needs to run with
389 special privileges.
390 - perl taint checking disabled, as urxvt no longer runs setuid/setgid
391 itself.
392 - new perl extension automove-background that can be used to get
393 the same effect as pseudo-transparency with any pixmap.

459 - SECURITY FIX: on systems using openpty, permissions were
460 not correctly updated on the tty device and were left as
461 world-readable and world-writable (likely in original rxvt,
462 too), and were not restored properly. Affected are only
463 systems where non-unix ptys were used (such as most BSDs, not
464 GNU/Linux). (found, patched and debugged by Ryan Beasley).
465 - meta8 support was forcefully enabled in most configurations.
466 restored configurability of this (useless) feature (reported
