55 - INCOMPATIBLE CHANGE: this version will always read ~/.Xdefaults,
56 earlier versions only read it if display-resources (usually from
57 .Xresources) are not set. This avoids the #1 FAQ ("why isn't my
58 resource used") and seems to be logical behaviour, too. .Xdefaults
59 resources have a lower priority than display-specific resources.
60 - add "kuake" perl extension that does a similar thing to the kuake
61 terminal emulator (see man urxtvperl).
62 - use less "correct" color scaling that is compatible with libX11 and
63 Xft (avoids off-by-one colors resulting in striped backgrounds).
64 - the "depth" resource is now respected.
65 - preset the searchable-scrollback pattern with "(?i)" to default search

96 - use double-buffered drawing (xft fonts only). On many driver/hardware
97 combination this actually increases xft drawing speed, at the expense
98 of more network bandwidth and slight nausea on the side of the author.
99 - readline perl extension now requires shift-click instead of a normal
100 click, and eats the click.
101 - tabbed perl extension now supports -e.
102 - disabled graphics-exposures on the main drawing GC, report any
103 refresh bugs please.
104 - improve property handling for -pe tabbed: avoid unnecessary property
105 changes (for kde's benefit) at the expense of extra round-trips,
106 improve size hint setting.
107 - modified XIM according to a patch sent by Takano Akio that sets
108 the preedit rectangle for OverTheSpot, which helps some input methods
109 to correctly position their preedit window.

256 improved by moving privileged operations into a separate process

259 and gives a much safer feeling when urxvt needs to run with

261 - perl taint checking disabled, as urxvt no longer runs setuid/setgid

332 world-readable and world-writable (likely in original rxvt,
333 too), and were not restored properly. Affected are only
334 systems where non-unix ptys were used (such as most BSDs, not
335 GNU/Linux). (found, patched and debugged by Ryan Beasley).
336 - meta8 support was forcefully enabled in most configurations.
337 restored configurability of this (useless) feature (reported

339 - optionally embed a perl interpreter, which can be used for more
