77 - fixed urxvt::strwidth to calculate width in the same way as screen.C.
78 - fix a crash caused by passing negative widths to overlay functions.
79 - added 'matcher' extension by tpope, replacing the mark-urls extension.

103 - INCOMPATIBLE CHANGE: this version will always read ~/.Xdefaults,
104 earlier versions only read it if display-resources (usually from
105 .Xresources) are not set. This avoids the #1 FAQ ("why isn't my
106 resource used") and seems to be logical behaviour, too. .Xdefaults
107 resources have a lower priority than display-specific resources.
108 - add "kuake" perl extension that does a similar thing to the kuake
109 terminal emulator (see man urxtvperl).
110 - use less "correct" color scaling that is compatible with libX11 and
111 Xft (avoids off-by-one colors resulting in striped backgrounds).
112 - the "depth" resource is now respected.
113 - preset the searchable-scrollback pattern with "(?i)" to default search

145 combination this actually increases xft drawing speed, at the expense
146 of more network bandwidth and slight nausea on the side of the author.
147 - readline perl extension now requires shift-click instead of a normal
148 click, and eats the click.
149 - tabbed perl extension now supports -e.
150 - disabled graphics-exposures on the main drawing GC, report any
151 refresh bugs please.
152 - improve property handling for -pe tabbed: avoid unnecessary property
153 changes (for kde's benefit) at the expense of extra round-trips,

155 - modified XIM according to a patch sent by Takano Akio that sets

303 - setuid/setgid operation is now _encouraged_: security has been
304 improved by moving privileged operations into a separate process
305 and permanently dropping privileges within the terminal. This
306 makes it possible to remove security checks from the perl code
307 and gives a much safer feeling when urxvt needs to run with
308 special privileges.
309 - perl taint checking disabled, as urxvt no longer runs setuid/setgid

311 - new perl extension automove-background that can be used to get
312 the same effect as pseudo-transparency with any pixmap.

379 not correctly updated on the tty device and were left as
380 world-readable and world-writable (likely in original rxvt,
381 too), and were not restored properly. Affected are only
382 systems where non-unix ptys were used (such as most BSDs, not
383 GNU/Linux). (found, patched and debugged by Ryan Beasley).
384 - meta8 support was forcefully enabled in most configurations.
385 restored configurability of this (useless) feature (reported

387 - optionally embed a perl interpreter, which can be used for more

465 - INCOMPATIBLE CHANGE: -fade changed it's meaning to comply with
466 the documentation and common sense: when upgrading, replace your
467 percentage by 100-percentage.

469 - slow down the internal visual bell (delay by 20ms) and update
470 the terminfo flash code to use the same delay. This is
471 synchronous, so many bells might inhibit screen updates in other
