26 - INCOMPATIBLE CHANGE: this version will always read ~/.Xdefaults,
27 earlier versions only read it if display-resources (usually from
28 .Xresources) are not set. This avoids the #1 FAQ ("why isn't my
29 resource used") and seems to be logical behaviour, too. .Xdefaults
30 resources have a lower priority than display-specific resources.
31 - use less "correct" color scaling that is compatible with libX11 and
32 Xft (avoids off-by-one colors resulting in striped backgrounds).

64 combination this actually increases xft drawing speed, at the expense
65 of more network bandwidth and slight nausea on the side of the author.
66 - readline perl extension now requires shift-click instead of a normal
67 click, and eats the click.
68 - tabbed perl extension now supports -e.
69 - disabled graphics-exposures on the main drawing GC, report any
70 refresh bugs please.
71 - improve property handling for -pe tabbed: avoid unnecessary property

218 - setuid/setgid operation is now _encouraged_: security has been
219 improved by moving privileged operations into a separate process
220 and permanently dropping privileges within the terminal. This
221 makes it possible to remove security checks from the perl code
222 and gives a much safer feeling when urxvt needs to run with
223 special privileges.
224 - perl taint checking disabled, as urxvt no longer runs setuid/setgid
225 itself.
226 - new perl extension automove-background that can be used to get
227 the same effect as pseudo-transparency with any pixmap.

294 not correctly updated on the tty device and were left as
295 world-readable and world-writable (likely in original rxvt,
296 too), and were not restored properly. Affected are only
297 systems where non-unix ptys were used (such as most BSDs, not
298 GNU/Linux). (found, patched and debugged by Ryan Beasley).
299 - meta8 support was forcefully enabled in most configurations.
300 restored configurability of this (useless) feature (reported
301 by Mikachu).
302 - optionally embed a perl interpreter, which can be used for more
303 intelligent/customized selection support, visual feedback,

408 - font names are now considered to be utf-8 encoded (xft apperently
409 uses this convention. X Core fonts might not, but it should be rare).

411 - rewrote the low-level xft drawing function ("xft backend" for the

413 chars mixed with fixed-width ones.
414 - rxvt is now much more careful (read: slower) with potentially
