40 - setuid/setgid operation is now _encouraged_: security has been
41 improved by moving privileged operations into a separate process
42 and permanently dropping privileges within the terminal. This
43 makes it possible to remove security checks from the perl code
44 and gives a much safer feeling when urxvt needs to run with
45 special privileges.
46 - perl taint checking disabled, as urxvt no longer runs setuid/setgid
47 itself.
48 - new perl extension automove-background that can be used to get
49 the same effect as pseudo-transparency with any pixmap.

115 - SECURITY FIX: on systems using openpty, permissions were
116 not correctly updated on the tty device and were left as
117 world-readable and world-writable (likely in original rxvt,
118 too), and were not restored properly. Affected are only
119 systems where non-unix ptys were used (such as most BSDs, not
120 GNU/Linux). (found, patched and debugged by Ryan Beasley).
121 - meta8 support was forcefully enabled in most configurations.
122 restored configurability of this (useless) feature (reported
