174 - INCOMPATIBLE CHANGE: this version will always read ~/.Xdefaults,
175 earlier versions only read it if display-resources (usually from
176 .Xresources) are not set. This avoids the #1 FAQ ("why isn't my
177 resource used") and seems to be logical behaviour, too. .Xdefaults
178 resources have a lower priority than display-specific resources.
179 - add "kuake" perl extension that does a similar thing to the kuake
180 terminal emulator (see man urxtvperl).
181 - use less "correct" color scaling that is compatible with libX11 and
182 Xft (avoids off-by-one colors resulting in striped backgrounds).
183 - the "depth" resource is now respected.
184 - preset the searchable-scrollback pattern with "(?i)" to default search

215 - use double-buffered drawing (xft fonts only). On many driver/hardware
216 combination this actually increases xft drawing speed, at the expense
217 of more network bandwidth and slight nausea on the side of the author.
218 - readline perl extension now requires shift-click instead of a normal
219 click, and eats the click.
220 - tabbed perl extension now supports -e.
221 - disabled graphics-exposures on the main drawing GC, report any
222 refresh bugs please.
223 - improve property handling for -pe tabbed: avoid unnecessary property
224 changes (for kde's benefit) at the expense of extra round-trips,

226 - modified XIM according to a patch sent by Takano Akio that sets
227 the preedit rectangle for OverTheSpot, which helps some input methods

374 - setuid/setgid operation is now _encouraged_: security has been
375 improved by moving privileged operations into a separate process
376 and permanently dropping privileges within the terminal. This
377 makes it possible to remove security checks from the perl code
378 and gives a much safer feeling when urxvt needs to run with
379 special privileges.
380 - perl taint checking disabled, as urxvt no longer runs setuid/setgid

382 - new perl extension automove-background that can be used to get
383 the same effect as pseudo-transparency with any pixmap.

450 not correctly updated on the tty device and were left as
451 world-readable and world-writable (likely in original rxvt,
452 too), and were not restored properly. Affected are only
453 systems where non-unix ptys were used (such as most BSDs, not
454 GNU/Linux). (found, patched and debugged by Ryan Beasley).
