172 - INCOMPATIBLE CHANGE: this version will always read ~/.Xdefaults,
173 earlier versions only read it if display-resources (usually from
174 .Xresources) are not set. This avoids the #1 FAQ ("why isn't my
175 resource used") and seems to be logical behaviour, too. .Xdefaults
176 resources have a lower priority than display-specific resources.
177 - add "kuake" perl extension that does a similar thing to the kuake
178 terminal emulator (see man urxtvperl).
179 - use less "correct" color scaling that is compatible with libX11 and
180 Xft (avoids off-by-one colors resulting in striped backgrounds).
181 - the "depth" resource is now respected.
182 - preset the searchable-scrollback pattern with "(?i)" to default search
183 to case-insensitivity. Will automatically be cleared when typing an
184 uppercase character.
185 - add FORCE_UNBUFFERED_XFT define to features.h.

213 - use double-buffered drawing (xft fonts only). On many driver/hardware
214 combination this actually increases xft drawing speed, at the expense
215 of more network bandwidth and slight nausea on the side of the author.
216 - readline perl extension now requires shift-click instead of a normal
217 click, and eats the click.
218 - tabbed perl extension now supports -e.
219 - disabled graphics-exposures on the main drawing GC, report any
220 refresh bugs please.
221 - improve property handling for -pe tabbed: avoid unnecessary property
222 changes (for kde's benefit) at the expense of extra round-trips,

224 - modified XIM according to a patch sent by Takano Akio that sets
225 the preedit rectangle for OverTheSpot, which helps some input methods

227 - un-optimise the line clearing on newly scrolled-in lines a bit: the

229 in empty spaces, but thats not true when reversing (e.g. selection),

232 - fix a bug in the perl interface causing focus in events to generate

235 - fix a with --disable-xft that caused xfreecolors to be called on

372 - setuid/setgid operation is now _encouraged_: security has been
373 improved by moving privileged operations into a separate process
374 and permanently dropping privileges within the terminal. This
375 makes it possible to remove security checks from the perl code
376 and gives a much safer feeling when urxvt needs to run with
377 special privileges.
378 - perl taint checking disabled, as urxvt no longer runs setuid/setgid

380 - new perl extension automove-background that can be used to get
381 the same effect as pseudo-transparency with any pixmap.

447 - SECURITY FIX: on systems using openpty, permissions were
448 not correctly updated on the tty device and were left as
449 world-readable and world-writable (likely in original rxvt,
450 too), and were not restored properly. Affected are only
451 systems where non-unix ptys were used (such as most BSDs, not
452 GNU/Linux). (found, patched and debugged by Ryan Beasley).
453 - meta8 support was forcefully enabled in most configurations.
454 restored configurability of this (useless) feature (reported
