37 combination this actually increases xft drawing speed, at the expense
38 of more network bandwidth and slight nausea on the side of the author.
39 - readline perl extension now requires shift-click instead of a normal
40 click, and eats the click.
41 - tabbed perl extension now supports -e.
42 - disabled graphics-exposures on the main drawing GC, report any

191 - setuid/setgid operation is now _encouraged_: security has been
192 improved by moving privileged operations into a separate process
193 and permanently dropping privileges within the terminal. This
194 makes it possible to remove security checks from the perl code
195 and gives a much safer feeling when urxvt needs to run with
196 special privileges.
197 - perl taint checking disabled, as urxvt no longer runs setuid/setgid
198 itself.
199 - new perl extension automove-background that can be used to get
200 the same effect as pseudo-transparency with any pixmap.

267 not correctly updated on the tty device and were left as
268 world-readable and world-writable (likely in original rxvt,
269 too), and were not restored properly. Affected are only
270 systems where non-unix ptys were used (such as most BSDs, not
271 GNU/Linux). (found, patched and debugged by Ryan Beasley).
272 - meta8 support was forcefully enabled in most configurations.
273 restored configurability of this (useless) feature (reported
274 by Mikachu).
275 - optionally embed a perl interpreter, which can be used for more
276 intelligent/customized selection support, visual feedback,

382 uses this convention. X Core fonts might not, but it should be rare).

384 - rewrote the low-level xft drawing function ("xft backend" for the

386 chars mixed with fixed-width ones.
387 - rxvt is now much more careful (read: slower) with potentially
