25 - INCOMPATIBLE CHANGE: this version will always read ~/.Xdefaults,
26 earlier versions only read it if display-resources (usually from
27 .Xresources) are not set. This avoids the #1 FAQ ("why isn't my
28 resource used") and seems to be logical behaviour, too. .Xdefaults
29 resources have a lower priority than display-specific resources.
30 - use less "correct" color scaling that is compatible with libX11 and
31 Xft (avoids off-by-one colors resulting in striped backgrounds).
32 - the "depth" resource is now respected.
33 - preset the searchable-scrollback pattern with "(?i)" to default search

64 - use double-buffered drawing (xft fonts only). On many driver/hardware
65 combination this actually increases xft drawing speed, at the expense
66 of more network bandwidth and slight nausea on the side of the author.
67 - readline perl extension now requires shift-click instead of a normal
68 click, and eats the click.
69 - tabbed perl extension now supports -e.
70 - disabled graphics-exposures on the main drawing GC, report any
71 refresh bugs please.
72 - improve property handling for -pe tabbed: avoid unnecessary property

219 - setuid/setgid operation is now _encouraged_: security has been
220 improved by moving privileged operations into a separate process
221 and permanently dropping privileges within the terminal. This
222 makes it possible to remove security checks from the perl code
223 and gives a much safer feeling when urxvt needs to run with
224 special privileges.
225 - perl taint checking disabled, as urxvt no longer runs setuid/setgid
226 itself.
227 - new perl extension automove-background that can be used to get
228 the same effect as pseudo-transparency with any pixmap.

298 systems where non-unix ptys were used (such as most BSDs, not
299 GNU/Linux). (found, patched and debugged by Ryan Beasley).
300 - meta8 support was forcefully enabled in most configurations.
301 restored configurability of this (useless) feature (reported

303 - optionally embed a perl interpreter, which can be used for more
