104 - fixed urxvt::strwidth to calculate width in the same way as screen.C.
105 - fix a crash caused by passing negative widths to overlay functions.

130 - INCOMPATIBLE CHANGE: this version will always read ~/.Xdefaults,
131 earlier versions only read it if display-resources (usually from
132 .Xresources) are not set. This avoids the #1 FAQ ("why isn't my
133 resource used") and seems to be logical behaviour, too. .Xdefaults
134 resources have a lower priority than display-specific resources.
135 - add "kuake" perl extension that does a similar thing to the kuake
136 terminal emulator (see man urxtvperl).
137 - use less "correct" color scaling that is compatible with libX11 and
138 Xft (avoids off-by-one colors resulting in striped backgrounds).
139 - the "depth" resource is now respected.
140 - preset the searchable-scrollback pattern with "(?i)" to default search
141 to case-insensitivity. Will automatically be cleared when typing an

171 - use double-buffered drawing (xft fonts only). On many driver/hardware
172 combination this actually increases xft drawing speed, at the expense
173 of more network bandwidth and slight nausea on the side of the author.
174 - readline perl extension now requires shift-click instead of a normal
175 click, and eats the click.
176 - tabbed perl extension now supports -e.
177 - disabled graphics-exposures on the main drawing GC, report any
178 refresh bugs please.
179 - improve property handling for -pe tabbed: avoid unnecessary property

330 - setuid/setgid operation is now _encouraged_: security has been
331 improved by moving privileged operations into a separate process
332 and permanently dropping privileges within the terminal. This
333 makes it possible to remove security checks from the perl code
334 and gives a much safer feeling when urxvt needs to run with
335 special privileges.
336 - perl taint checking disabled, as urxvt no longer runs setuid/setgid

405 - SECURITY FIX: on systems using openpty, permissions were
406 not correctly updated on the tty device and were left as
407 world-readable and world-writable (likely in original rxvt,
408 too), and were not restored properly. Affected are only
409 systems where non-unix ptys were used (such as most BSDs, not
410 GNU/Linux). (found, patched and debugged by Ryan Beasley).
411 - meta8 support was forcefully enabled in most configurations.
412 restored configurability of this (useless) feature (reported

414 - optionally embed a perl interpreter, which can be used for more
