239 - INCOMPATIBLE CHANGE: this version will always read ~/.Xdefaults,
240 earlier versions only read it if display-resources (usually from
241 .Xresources) are not set. This avoids the #1 FAQ ("why isn't my
242 resource used") and seems to be logical behaviour, too. .Xdefaults
243 resources have a lower priority than display-specific resources.
244 - add "kuake" perl extension that does a similar thing to the kuake
245 terminal emulator (see man urxtvperl).
246 - use less "correct" color scaling that is compatible with libX11 and
247 Xft (avoids off-by-one colors resulting in striped backgrounds).
248 - the "depth" resource is now respected.
249 - preset the searchable-scrollback pattern with "(?i)" to default search
250 to case-insensitivity. Will automatically be cleared when typing an

280 - use double-buffered drawing (xft fonts only). On many driver/hardware
281 combination this actually increases xft drawing speed, at the expense
282 of more network bandwidth and slight nausea on the side of the author.
283 - readline perl extension now requires shift-click instead of a normal
284 click, and eats the click.
285 - tabbed perl extension now supports -e.
286 - disabled graphics-exposures on the main drawing GC, report any
287 refresh bugs please.
288 - improve property handling for -pe tabbed: avoid unnecessary property

439 - setuid/setgid operation is now _encouraged_: security has been
440 improved by moving privileged operations into a separate process
441 and permanently dropping privileges within the terminal. This
442 makes it possible to remove security checks from the perl code
443 and gives a much safer feeling when urxvt needs to run with
444 special privileges.
445 - perl taint checking disabled, as urxvt no longer runs setuid/setgid
446 itself.
447 - new perl extension automove-background that can be used to get
448 the same effect as pseudo-transparency with any pixmap.
