247 - INCOMPATIBLE CHANGE: this version will always read ~/.Xdefaults,
248 earlier versions only read it if display-resources (usually from
249 .Xresources) are not set. This avoids the #1 FAQ ("why isn't my
250 resource used") and seems to be logical behaviour, too. .Xdefaults
251 resources have a lower priority than display-specific resources.
252 - add "kuake" perl extension that does a similar thing to the kuake
253 terminal emulator (see man urxtvperl).
254 - use less "correct" color scaling that is compatible with libX11 and
255 Xft (avoids off-by-one colors resulting in striped backgrounds).
256 - the "depth" resource is now respected.

289 combination this actually increases xft drawing speed, at the expense
290 of more network bandwidth and slight nausea on the side of the author.
291 - readline perl extension now requires shift-click instead of a normal
292 click, and eats the click.
293 - tabbed perl extension now supports -e.
294 - disabled graphics-exposures on the main drawing GC, report any
295 refresh bugs please.
296 - improve property handling for -pe tabbed: avoid unnecessary property

447 - setuid/setgid operation is now _encouraged_: security has been
448 improved by moving privileged operations into a separate process
449 and permanently dropping privileges within the terminal. This
450 makes it possible to remove security checks from the perl code
451 and gives a much safer feeling when urxvt needs to run with
452 special privileges.
453 - perl taint checking disabled, as urxvt no longer runs setuid/setgid
