254 - INCOMPATIBLE CHANGE: this version will always read ~/.Xdefaults,
255 earlier versions only read it if display-resources (usually from
256 .Xresources) are not set. This avoids the #1 FAQ ("why isn't my
257 resource used") and seems to be logical behaviour, too. .Xdefaults
258 resources have a lower priority than display-specific resources.
259 - add "kuake" perl extension that does a similar thing to the kuake
260 terminal emulator (see man urxtvperl).
261 - use less "correct" color scaling that is compatible with libX11 and
262 Xft (avoids off-by-one colors resulting in striped backgrounds).
263 - the "depth" resource is now respected.
264 - preset the searchable-scrollback pattern with "(?i)" to default search

295 - use double-buffered drawing (xft fonts only). On many driver/hardware
296 combination this actually increases xft drawing speed, at the expense
297 of more network bandwidth and slight nausea on the side of the author.
298 - readline perl extension now requires shift-click instead of a normal
299 click, and eats the click.
300 - tabbed perl extension now supports -e.
301 - disabled graphics-exposures on the main drawing GC, report any
302 refresh bugs please.
303 - improve property handling for -pe tabbed: avoid unnecessary property

454 - setuid/setgid operation is now _encouraged_: security has been
455 improved by moving privileged operations into a separate process
456 and permanently dropping privileges within the terminal. This
457 makes it possible to remove security checks from the perl code
458 and gives a much safer feeling when urxvt needs to run with

460 - perl taint checking disabled, as urxvt no longer runs setuid/setgid
