          faster caching mechanism by attaching magic to the CV.

          of stack in use (stack is still only physically allocated in
          pagesize increments for systems suporting mmap).
        - fix for a "cygwin-64" architecture added, proposed by Stefan Traby.
        - fix for threaded perl.
