This is a public Deliantra Test server. Here, anybody can connect and upload and test their |
| 6 |
maps, with dm-like capabilities for testing.
| 7 |
| 8 |

Notes:
| 9 |
| 10 |

| 11 |

You need an crossfire client and an account on our regular server, see Game Server. You can also create an |
| 12 |
account normally, but it will be deleted regularly.
| 13 |
| 14 |

The accounts, maps and other items are copied from the regular crossfire.schmorp.de server every three |
| 15 |
hours. This means that whatever you upload, acquire or lose, will be nuked at those regular intervals (00:00, 03:00, 06:00 etc. CET). |
| 16 |
Likewise, accounts created on cf.schmorp.de will only become active after that period.
| 17 |
| 18 |

The server is designed to crash, and will restart within seconds after a crash.
| 19 |
| 20 |

The following dm-commands are available to every user: |
| 21 |
goto, reset, wizpass, wizcast, |
| 22 |
wizlook and teleport. Use the help command |
| 23 |
to learn about them.
| 24 |
| 25 |

Maps can be uploaded via the form at http://www.deliantra.net/upload. |
| 26 |
Built-in support for the Deliantra Client and the Editor are in the works.
| 27 |
| 28 |

The maps you upload must be Deliantra maps. This mostly means |
| 29 |
that regular Crossfire maps work fine, with the following differences: |
| 30 |
a) spurious spaces at the end of a line are not supported; b) event |
| 31 |
objects are not supported and will be ignored (use attach |
| 32 |
instead); c) they must be valid UTF-8 d) they must use archetypes |
| 33 |
available on cf.schmorp.de. All these are not normally a problem. When |
| 34 |
in doubt, run your maps through cfmap-normalize. A future |
| 35 |
version of the upload script will take care of that automatically.
| 36 |
| 37 |

Otherwise, the same rules as on cf.schmorp.de apply. Be courteous |
| 38 |
and do not impede other people that want to test. Be especially |
| 39 |
careful when replacing one of the existing maps, e.g. the scorn |
| 40 |
worldmaps. This is possible and supported, but can make it hard for |
| 41 |
other players to play if you botch it.
| 42 |
| 43 |
